Suzlon will add 3 new AI-enabled blade factories, taking its nationwide footprint to 20 units, with the first two in Gujarat and Karnataka.
The new units will help execute its 6.2 GW order book, cut logistics time, and integrate automation, robotics, and digital workflows.
Suzlon services nearly one-third of India’s 50 GW wind fleet and is upgrading all 15 existing plants under a multi-year smart factory programme.
Strategic note: The expansion signals India’s wind sector scaling toward industrial maturity, with digital manufacturing becoming central to competitive, domestic clean-energy production.
